As a people adept at integrating their edifices into the natural landscape, within their ranks the Forgotten possess some of Auriga's most cunning architects. From cave systems to cliffside perches to dense forests, Forgotten design is focused on the twin pillars of defence and concealment. Therefore, among the trade guilds of the Forgotten, the Architects' Guild is considered one of the most vital. As a skilled member of this guild, for Gula Yawa, unfortunately, this also brought a great deal of personal friction. When an untouched Dust-infused ruin was discovered in the Amber Plains, the Sable Consecrate made it a priority to found a Forgotten settlement on the site. Despite voicing deep reservations about the endeavour on account of the vulnerable nature of the location, Gula was pressed into overseeing the construction of the settlement. Less than six moons after a hundred or so Forgotten established themselves in the outpost, all of Gula's worst fears came to pass when the settlement was slaughtered in a Necrophage attack. Blamed by many and wracked with guilt, Gula left the Forgotten to find peace elsewhere.
