An Expansion unlocked from the Strategic Intensifier Blessing, available at the start of the 3^rd Winter.

The Strategic Intensifier is a special District that each city can only have one copy of, and must be placed on a Strategic Resource deposit. The Strategic Resource deposit may or may not already have a Resource Extractor built on it, but it is more efficient to place the Strategic Intensifier on a deposit that does not have an extractor since it will function as one.

The Forgotten, while able to build the Strategic Intensifier and collect additional resource from it, do not receive any benefit from the Science effects, somewhat reducing the construction's value for that faction.

Tips

Because the Strategic Intensifier cannot be demolished, it is important to consider its placement carefully. It should ideally be placed on a Mithrite or Hyperium Deposit, as those resources are the most rare, while also located somewhere it can be easily upgraded to level 2 or 3 to take advantage of the significant Science boost. As such, it is advised to wait until Era IV, when all resource deposits are revealed, to make a decision about where to place it.
