The Pillar of Influence is an Arcana made available by researching Arcana of Authority in Era II. The Pillar of Influence increases the Influence 
output of tiles in an area around it; the intensity and area of the effect are based on the pillar's Arcana level.

Upon obtaining the Cold Engineering technology by completing Chapter 5, Part 1 of the Ardent Mages faction quest, the Pillar of Influence will produce an additional +1 on tiles within its range during winter.

Lesser beings living on tiles within the reach of this pillar will be more easily swayed to your viewpoint, increasing your influence.
