An Expansion available to all factions from the start of the game. The Museum can only be built once in the world, meaning that once it is built by one empire it cannot be built by any other empire, and cannot be rebuilt by anyone if the city it was built in is razed. If the Museum is completed by another empire before you, you will be refunded the strategic resources spent to build it and given an amount of Dust based on how far construction had progressed.
Completing the Museum of Auriga also completes the Legendary Deed "Civilization Builder".
This vast building hosts displays and explanations of Auriga's natural wonders. From resources and anomalies to peoples and fauna, the marvels of Auriga can be studied here.
Although one of the listed effects of the Museum of Auriga is "+20% Cost Reduction on Empire Approval (Happy)" it is not clear what this effect actually does. It does not appear to decrease the Industry cost or Dust Buyout cost of Buildings or units, it does not reduce the cost of research when playing as the Forgotten or any other faction, it does not reduce the cost of Empire Plans, and it does not affect any other element of the game that has what could be considered a "cost" or "purchasing" mechanic attached to it.
