Iracu's youth was spent similar to most of the Morgawr who were hatched after the Originals broke free. Iracu remembers a society fighting to understand and define itself; a society that had not existed before and was in a process of recreating itself day-to-day like a living organism. Highly invested in the goal of forging a stable society, Iracu took it upon herself to purge many of the more horrific mutations who were too weak, crippled, or demented to join a functioning civilization. She name them "Aberrances", and in the matter of judgement became jury and executioner. Cold as any Morgawr and relentless in excising frailty and corruption, Iracu's fame as a pragmatic and unemotional leader has given her wide support in spite of her willingness to serve rapid and terminal justice.
